Celebrating our Centenary Year

The year 2022 will be especially significant for Crosstown Bowling Club, as we celebrate 100 years since our formation. The Committee are working hard in planning a number of events to mark the occasion. The first was a Centenary Challenge Match that was held on Saturday 4th June 2022.  The match was between a Crosstown Select and a Knutsford League Select.  Crosstown selected their players from across the range with two players from each team.  Unfortunately their rivals saw it differently and as both Knutsford League teams (men and women) entered very strong teams from the upper divisions.  However, an enjoyable day was had by all as the sun shined, the BBQ provided the food and the Knutsford League provided the ale.
